Pit Run straight from the pit. Large and small rocks. Compactable structural fill. This is the material that comes out of the ground beneath topsoil and subsoil layers. This product offers the most cost effective way to reduce labor when doing backfill, or building roads. However this may not be good for finished grade as there may be large rocks up to 1′. Other names for this material might include Pit Run, Structural Fill, Fill, Fill Dirt, Gravel, or Fill Gravel.
