The angular rock makes it a fantastic base layer (before 3/4″ minus) for road building or concrete prep. This product offers a cost effective way to reduce labor, and increase structural integrity, when doing backfill, building roads, or doing concrete prep.

Pit Run straight from the pit. Large and small rocks. Compactable structural fill. This is the material that comes out of the ground beneath topsoil and subsoil layers. This product offers the most cost effective way to reduce labor when doing backfill, or building roads. However, this may not be good for finished grade as there may be large rocks larger than 1′. Other names for this material include Pit Run, Structural Fill, Fill, Fill Dirt, Gravel, Bank Run, or Fill Gravel
